Everyone says they don't mind dust until they actually rock a set of dusty pads

there's no need for excessively dusty pads these days with the choice and performance from the Pmu range that is super low to no dust

just sayn

Interesting that the Z8000's have a slightly higher cold COF but lower hot that the HC800+ PMU's

Ferodos are real good freaky, fairly dusty.
You'd run DS2500 up front and DS Performamce rears.
You really gotta go brembos man, miles ahead of the stockers.

yer id love to run brembos, but dont have 2k for a new front kit.

pretty sure they dont make the DS2500's for standard twin pots, race brakes mentioned that on fordforum.

So just over a month now I've had the dba4000 T3 slotted rotors and Proj Mu NS400 in my front 4 pot Brembo calipers.  They are good but I've got an inherent squeak in my front right Brembo calipers that was there even with the genuine Brembo rotors and pads (though barely noticeable).  With the new rotors and pads - the squeal is noticeable.  However - as time goes by the squeal has gotten lesser in intensity.  Some days I barely notice it.   Does not appear to affect braking capabilty in my opinion - just affects my ears - its actually a passive way to let people know I'm coming up behind them / beside them (sometimes get heads turning).

I'd also like to try the Winmax W2 low metal organic compound pads at some stage.  That may help with the metallic squeal that I'm hearing with my front right Brembo.  I was forewarned by Hallam Brakes that from their experience if I didn't use Brembo original rotors and pads there was the possiblity of squealing.

squeak will be related to pad contact in the caliper. A little CRC Stop Squeak (or plan old RTV) in the piston to pad contact point and on the pad wear pads the noise will stop.
