just make sure you get all the details from the seller, Address phone numbers drivers license etc etc you dont want unwanted issue from the police like unpaid speeding fines etc etc and logged your transfer notice right away.

You can't transfer the plates unless you have had the car rego'd in your name in origin stare.

Either way it'll need to go over the pits and be re-rego'd here in WA. Budget 1300 to 1500 for inspection and rego

Why not fly over and have a look in person?

It depends on the cost of the flight.

I've brought cars back from Sydney twice this year. It's cost me $200 for a Tiger Air ticket to Sydney each time, but that was late on a Sunday night.

Flying over gives you the chance to see the car in person, and then pay for it while you're actually with the seller (eg bank transfer).

If you're really keen then fly out Friday night and drive the car back.
