Lifting heads and E85 has been around for years

Have a think what u could change to suit

It all begins with the fuel

Lifting a head is all to do with cylinder pressure. The only thing I can change is target an initial lower boost to keep my af flat through the curve.

If that's the case , it's going straight on gumtree as there boring as f*ck to drive like that.

Yeah all well and good to make a pretty power figure at the top of your rpm range but if you want a quick car on the street you need boost down low or you are going to get walked but a much lower kw car.

Speaking to my tuner earlier today and he always uses 14mm head studs. I guess this is the edge you play when you build stuff yourself.

still get walked if it comes on too hard to early. Mid 300s tractable rwkw is adequate for a daily IMO. Decent compromise

With the basics you can smack boost in as hard as it can make it, I don't see the issue when tuned correctly

So your saying if my a/f ratios were correct I wouldn't of had this problem? Is lean mixture the cause of excessive cylinder pressure?
