he's committed himself to buying a ford, we won't let up on him. somebody change his name to 'is buying a ford'.

my 6.5k car cost me $12k with tyres rego insurance mechanical repairs to date and pretty happy that it has a billet input shaft to the zf :)

Maybe u could buy a early 90s M3 for 10k? Lol

Any car that cost 50k or less new is built for the average joe with 70% of the goodies of a 100k car...

U want a perfect car with high hp, AMG63 for 160k will get u there.

U want something for 10k that will destroy ^ then buy something like Gaz car for 13ish.... and invest some elbow power to fix any little issues and u have a Pig of a car for 10% of what it would cost to find a car with that hp new.

I can name plenty of cars and lets not forget that holdens have a 100 times better build quality than the fords for less than 50k and there are plenty of others too.

IMHO, they are definitely on a par with one another, in terms of build quality (for Australian built Ford/Holden)

I have yet to see a Expensive Daewoo with tech screws holding in interior trim pcs and the older model (vy/vz) are much nicer to drive than the ba/bf. I havent driven the fgx yet but have the VF/VFII to compare that side of things only coz when I was looking new I decided to avoid ford at all cost

New yeah the VF smashes the FG's etc when we look at the overall package. However I used to agree until I got the BF.

My poorly maintained BA drove like a pig compared to the VT Late model camira I bought to run around in for two years. My BF sh*ts on almost every car I've driven for handling, even the mechanic I went to commented on how nice it drove. it does have front (30mm) and rear (22mm) swaybars though.

Honestly you should consider waving a decent amount of cash infront of Gary because if it checks out mechanically it looks like a good buy.

This conversation is pointless. It has nothing to do with gaz's car overall but if you have such a hardon for it then buy it. I can name plenty of cars and lets not forget that holdens have a 100 times better build quality than the fords for less than 50k and there are plenty of others too.

but again ill spell this out for you its not about the money its about the situation overall otherwise I would have already purchased......

Most people have a hardon for gazzas car mate!

Im just pointing out the obvious,

And im purely using his car as a reference.

I said to u on day one on here to go look at his car and at a minimum use it as a base to pursue other cars if u didnt feel sold on his.

your $$$ so u choose what u want.

Just hurry up and get something and then do skids with vids lol
