I read the top part of the paragraph and it says go richer with less timing to save the motor, but when your on the edge of pushing timing to the limit you need to lean out to make the power, without breaking something. eff xr6t Member 569 Member For: 11y 2m 24d Posted 16/05/15 12:07 PM Share Posted 16/05/15 12:07 PM Smashing more boost in and less timing doesn't really help the motor, for example if the motor is making 400kw on 20psi and 18* timing then makes 400kw on 25psi and only 14* the same force is still pushing down on the Pistons as it's making the same power so then the same force is pushing up on the head trying to lift it.
