I bought the turbo second hand off a guy that destroyed a motor so that's where the damage came from the first time. I knew it was damaged and decided to run it Which I did successfully for 12 months. . Then it got loud so I sent it for a rebuild. (Done at least 40K hard kays) . 3 months later it has failed quickly and f*cked nearly everything. The rear bearing is in multiple pieces but the rear wheel in my opinion has no extra damage (other then grinding against the housing for a little while) He says he has photos from when he had it the first time. I guess I'll know more tomorrow when he has a look at these photos.

Might float the idea of paying the price of a upgrade to offset some loss.

The inducer off the rear wheel never touched only what's showing here. What tolerance, clearance in the trim area is suitable?

Anyway update. He has agreed that it has failed under no fault of mine and is agreeing it's a warranty issue. . Have agreed to pay for a 66mm wheel upgrade. So all he will need to supply is a new/reconditioned core assembly.
