I change my oil every 9k and only use good oil. Are they more like an peace of mind or they really worth the effort? Thanks

The old one had miniscule amounts of debris in it and got cleaned ready for the next changeover. The braided kits look the goods and heaps of the forum people use them. IMO, quality oil and regular changes is step one. Getting these filter fittings things out of the block is P** easy and if they are clean........ leave it alone.I have nothing other than a gut feel but I am not a fan of removing the micro filter from the fitting. Worth the piece of mind I reckon and it looks cool too. Pretty cheap also

On the off chance the motor sh*ts itself id rather a little bit of metal didn't make it to the turbo, even worse gets stuck in the banjo for a while and kills your turbo after a motor rebuild. Ridiculous scenario I know but one ill never have to worry about. So easy to clean the after market filters also. Do mine every oil change. Also I think Aaron once said the factory screens are so fine, even if you clean them to the naked eye, they can still be blocked. Bin the old one.
