Id1000's Vs 850's Or 725's?

Wanted to gather some opinion on injector selection for my build. Planning to only run 98 NOT e85, looking to make no more than 350kw. A lot of people have been telling me that the ID1000 is deffinately the way to go, can be made to idle well, etc but I have my reservations due to size of the unit. I'm just wondering if the smaller sizes on offer will make it a little easier to tune & hone in on the idle/open road tune. I was planning to use a siemans deka 60lb unit which I know a guy uses and develops about the same power.

On a side note, peoples opinion whether a pump boost/surge/upgrade is required? more from a tunability point of view? just to stop any tapering of the fuel pressure at higher boost & rpm?

GENUINE id 1000's are an amazing injector and can very easily idle better than smaller injectors on the market

Hi

I would suggest the following for the power levels you target:

Both supply perfect idles , safety and drivabilty.

KPM1000cc injectors $99 ea

Walbro 460 Intank fuel system $790

- includes anti surge module

- high flow fuel pressure regulator

- plug and play relay/wiring kit

All are direct fit with no mess or modifications.

We can supply o/night with a 3 year warranty and phone support.

As with ID injectors , our products are Made by Bosch.

We utilise Bosch injectors and enhance them to a higher flow capacity.

The injectors are then characterised and matched into sets of +/- 1% variation. This is done on specialised equipment by specialised engineers in house by KPM.

We do not out source any work and we do not distribute other companies products.

All KPM Injectors are enhanced in Australia with exact data generated to suit Australian vehicles.

We are the only injector company to offer 3 Year Warranty on our injectors and free telephone support.

We believe our products are second to none and our offerings and value are the best in Australia.

Increasingly , many professional workshops around Australia and New Zealand are realising the value of KPM injectors and purchasing locally.

I would suggest that at 350 rwkw you will be close if not already maixuming your standard system and will be best served with a Walbro 460 Intank Fuel system.

This would deliver fuel for up to 450 rwkw and maintain perfect fuel pressures.

I hope this all helps

^^^ salesman much

Given the negligible price differences between the kpm550 to the 1500's. I don't see why anybody would get any less than the 1000's.

I assume the reason the 550's and 1000's are the same price is the labor that goes into them.

Thanks Pixy. I know what your getting at but I plan to have overhead in my build with a slightly upgraded pump setup, not an oversized injector. Even on 98 I know a 1000cc unit will make an easy 400-500 with the right fuel supply but I'm looking to make mid 300's. Again, the question I ask is more focused on if a smaller injector (ie the others I origianlly pointed out) is going to give finer tuning control
