Hey mate Welcome to the forum. Lot of the time you'll find you get useless replies but there are lots of knowledgeable and helpful people out there. I think Steve layed the law down pretty well with those diagrams. Your car is a Straight 6, all Falcon Sixes are Straight.

Yes it's possible to do the conversion, it's the same car so all the gear should bolt in and fit up without modifying.

Unless somebody who has done the exact same conversion can give some input then you will not know the full extent of what problems you will run into.

If you want to learn about cars, how they work then you are best off starting on more reliable sources than Forums until you get enough basic knowledge to be able to interpret what you read on discussion boards.

Buy yourself a VS Commodore, the cheaper the better that way there are more things to fix and then buy yourself a Gregories service book for it. Begin reading it and there you can learn a lot of things in theory and go and do them on the car.

Have a look at this Youtube channel, it has many informative Videos about the science behind how cars work :

There may be some books you can rent at your Library on cars that could help you learn more, but the way you learn is to fix things and work on cars.
