I disconnected the vacuum line and plugged it up now it sounds crap it's got a louder better sounding dose when it's connected all Iv got is a pod filter in a box all standard piping and cooler it's got a 4 inch dump with 100 cell cat and twin 3 inch then standard cat back running 8.5 psi I thought it was supposed to give you a loud dose with it disconnected

Make sure you disconnected the correct vacuum line, I guess it comes down to personal preference of how good it sounds but it should be louder with it disconnected.

With standard intake piping you wont get much noise anyway.

You're better off removing the return line from the bypass valve to the intake (before turbo) to get the turkey gobble or shhh shhh sound if that's what you like!

I had the line and bov blocked and it sounded epic, but when I got my car tuned my tuner said it was causing crazy things with holding boost during the tune,

also said it can saveerly damage the engine so he hooked it back up,

on topic is there a way of getting a decent dose with bov hooked up as I hate the 'pshhhh' sound
