Hey People

Only new to the Ford/Turbo scene and have a question Im sure will be answered!

I have a 2009 Silhouette FG G6E Turbo and lowered it with Kingspring SSSL's a week ago (looks very cool).

Anyway the front wheels camber looks like a race car, had it wheel aligned thinking it would fix it and it hasnt.

looking on this site I get the impression I need a camber kit? Shims on the upper control arms?

Is this the only adjustment on the FG?

How much am I looking at if I go for a camber kit?

Im not impressed with the company that wheel aligned it as they didnt say anything to me about camber problems!

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Cheers

Gav

it cost me about $175 of cars r us (ba ) they are not hard to fit if its a turbo .but mine used to be a v8 and it was a sh*t of a job ,no room to get your fingers there. got a wheel alignment and all sweet now

I run sssl front with factory brackets fully shimmed and have around neg 1 deg camber which I can live with although does scrub tyres out a little

You can change to different brackets to straighten the camber out, no other adjustment

A lot of shops won't adjust camber for a standard alignment as its a fair bit of extra work, although they should tell you the camber is a problem and can be rectified at a cost
