Just wondering how to get it down, would porting the waste gate solve this problem? Or are you DIYing with HPT? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88722-lowering-the-boost-to-safe-level-gtx3582r/#findComment-1485306 Share on other sites

You sure the actuator is free? If you still reach 19psi your wastegate needs a flapper mod and a port. I don't even bother tuning the boost tables, just rely on the valve. And it's an over boost valve, calling it a blowoff valve will confuse people. It's still not the ideal way to control boost 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88722-lowering-the-boost-to-safe-level-gtx3582r/#findComment-1485388 Share on other sites
