got side skirts and bumper off today.the skirts went too bad but still had bout a 30mm thick bead of sika flex!!! I peeled off the skirts ok but the thick strip of sealant is still on the ute! the bumper was such a *beep* to do mainly because I didnt have a socket to get the tow bar ball off same again though the pieces behind the rear wheel were glued to hell! I picked up a f6 tornado kit and looks like it will fit but may need some mounts for the bottom of the side skits as the kit sits alot lower

good on you for getting the parts off .sika flex is strong stuff .lol I got to rip out window frames and doors ,and hate the stuff .but it is the best sealant for water proofing .can you make the brackets out of aluminium ?

but at least the clips at the out side should line up its only the inside ones that are wrong ? I would just use larger pop rivets to hold the brackets on the skirt part and some self taping gal screws on the sill ,and use rust proving inside of the holes and on the tread .I know that the sills are filled with foam for sound deadening and can course rust (had the problem with au xr6) ps 3 mm aluminium would be fine ,use insulation tape to stop electrolyses (rust )it can happen in salty areas
