The clear coat or what appears to be a clear coat on my brembos is peeling off. These are on my F6X so any advice here?

I was just going to put a few clear coats over what I could flake off for the time being as when they are wet you don't notice the difference?

I would have thought that there was no clear coat either but the car is second hand and I have never used wheel cleaner on them and do not directly pressure wash the calipers...

That's what mine were doing.

Factory calipers aren't painted with your conventional 2pak. It's a very rubbery covering almost like a powder coat. These are some I did in 2pack with a ceramic clear. I didn't re-do the brembo logo at the time as I didn't have a stencil handy and just needed to get them on the car.post-49835-0-68681300-1405236581_thumb.j

Before I got a pro to paint them I picked off as much of the clear coat as I could and hit it with a VHT red spray can I bought at supercheap, felt dirty doing so but it looked better than the pink! Was only ever going to be a temporary measure.

Make sure to post up your repainted calipers everyone!
