Would be an interesting project for you if you ever got bored Mick

Similar power to Bel's car

Chuck the stock cooler in and see what difference it makes everything else considered equal and taking heat soak out of the equation

Had a Mk2 last week with plastic tank cooler on it and it would not make 280 without pinging, but already had injectors and a cat done on it, IAT were very high

The cooler being the weak point holding it back from more?

Then the intake being the next one in line?

Oh and btw the plane would take off as it's power is not going through the wheels but from the propulsion of the jet

It would require no extra power if the Tyre bearings had no friction
