Lifted straight from one of Brett's posts over on AFF:

"Kits for the BA through to FG utes using the sedan fronts and the adjustable rear dampers.

The front adjustable dampers come complete with new alloy top mounts, springs and base height adjustable.

They sell for $1700 using the existing rear leaf or for the Herrod leaf spring add $850."

Rab's on the money. The front coilover comes with the shock and spring, which coils over the shock.

Height usually needs to be adjusted before installing.

Ah ok, I thought you could choose what spring you wanted placed over the shock in a coil over set up.
$850 for new leafs is a bit over the top. Does the FPV models come with Herrod?
If not, I think ill just settle for them to be reset for a lower stance.

No, FPV models don't come with Herrod leafs. Herrod are a big performance workshop over east.

If you're going to lower it and you value your tailshaft I'd be looking at the Herrod leafs as they're designed to keep the pinion angle correct when lowering, which helps keep the CV's in the tailshaft from popping and you then needing to buy a new tailshaft.

Just my 2c...

doesn't resetting the leafs achieve this without putting pressure on CV's and tailshaft? From what I understand, when resetting, its a process of heating the metal leafs and reshaping them. Wouldn't this be a safe and cheaper alternative to new leafs?

You'll need to let shockworks know when ordering - I think they valve the dampers a little different depending on the leafs you have if different to stock

Unfortunately, ford leafed cars have only ended with the demise of the falcon... in 2015 ha. Only 100 years late.

Been e-mailing brett. He said that guys who have been resetting leafs have not had any issues, except to report stiffness in the rear. Dogs are in for a treat :)
