Do what I did with the Turbosmart adaptor, Cut the small dick of the bottom. This turns the adaptor into a plug ala the PW item and leaves the full rail return port open.

Then install your reg in the return line to get the based pressure you need.

I did this 3 odd years ago and it works well.

I have one port pluge and install my gauge in the spare post. Turbosmart orginally designed it for a VW rail and it probably works well on a smaller motor but with a couple of decent pumps and it can't keep up.

Removing the lower seal opens up a huge void and port under the adaptor for the return flow.

I'll post some pics of mine when I get back home tomorrow night.

I'm with ya Ralphy, that makes sense (you always make sense) I bought a second hand PW rail and an fpr1200 for $300 today, which means I'll still have to buy hoses and fitting etc..

So I can either do as you have done and then sell the rail or just use it... Hmmm

Where did you pick one up for that price? I tired of waiting and babying my car so I'll be reinstalling my adaptor and ext reg soon. I have a spare rail so I may even tig a centre return onto it and convert it to dual feed centre return.

Peppy, have you drilled out the return in your intank pot. You need to remove a one way valve and drill the venturi to 4mm. Running one walbro 460 allows a min pressure of 20psi once you do this.

Fuel rails are pretty easy to make if you have or have access to a drill press and TIG. Buy the extrusion, drill the holes, TIG fittings on along with mounts and that's about it. Once you are at the point of putting twin walbro 460s in then the more you will find you need to custom fabricate your own stuff.

The return on my fuel module should be plenty tranna, no restrictions there...

I did think about that, even thought about just modifying the factory rail, I only have access to a Mig at the moment.. I'm working on having a fully setup 'shed' with all the necessary machines/tools, that just takes time and money.
