My car is going to the dealer tomorrow to have the valve body replaced in the auto. I have noticed in the last few days that the slipping is getting worse from 2-3 so I hope it fixes it.

I am wondering if getting an upgraded transmission fluid will help with the new valve body. I have read on hear about redline and it has been getting good posts. Is this worth investing in or will it make little difference.

If the valve body doesn't fix the problem the APS will have another person joining the que for their auto upgrade.

;)

REDLINE Geea, REDLINE, It costs $300, and disperses heat very quickly, REDLINE in the auto and the cold air induction were basically the only drama free mods I ever had with my T. My trans was always quick to lock up and sweet as a nut, never slipped clunked or did anything else it shouldn't have and sometimes it got a real flogging :banghead: :kissmy:

REDLINE with a trans cooler is about as good as it gets. There are distributers in all states. I will post the STATE Contact numbers on Thurs.

Off for a day in Sydney tonight catch the redeye back Wed night.

I would be cautious about using a oil that is not approved for use in BTR's 4 speed auto. The oil used in this transmission was specifically developed for it. If you use a oil that is not approved you will void your warranty.

What are the differences between the standard fluid in the transmission and the Redline fluid? Also are there other choices available?
