Was tossing up between the vs and a vr(vr didn't have them) and bought the vs. A decision that would end up saving his life. He was badly hurt and the car was a write off, the drivers seat was crushed to half its size and the door skin was kind wrapped over the intrusion bar, as in there was an inprint of the bar on the door. It had done its job.

Early on kilometres wise, they are "driven", and driven every day. But dont let that worry you, ive got a mate (hard to believe, but I pay him well) and he owns a ex NSW HWP car, and its the best car he has ever owned. Hasnt had a problem with it. Plenty of people are all like "hell no, never buy a cop car, they are thrashed". Well yes they are, but the majority of damage is when they are thrashed, then turned off, which NEVER happens in HWP. They are all serviced to the dot. A lot of HWP cars spend a lot of time cruising on the highway, and seeing that yours is from the south coast, it would have had a easier life than say a Sydney metro car. They would be much like taxi's, kept warm all the time, good mix of highway miles, lower k's though so it's not going to see as much wear, will have always been run on 98 too (or a bit of e85, lol)
