do it all yourself if your mechanically minded and take it only to a shop to get tuned.. that's what ive done, just research what goods your getting and don't buy cheap crap and you will be ok.. if your not comfortable with your ability to get the right products to make the power and to also to install them correctly so all the tuner needs to do is play around with it on the dyno until the numbers add up :)

It's cheaper to purchase all the stuff yourself, install it yourself and take it to the Tuner, so long as you chose the correct parts, and those parts are in good condition and you install them correctly you will save yourself money plus have a fast car. Your not a car enthusiast unless you work on your car yourself and it's fun too

Installing an exhaust, Intercooler and Injectors and a Fuel pump is not too hard if you know what your doing, if it's something you have to ask mates help for, then that is a good indicator your best off to leave your car to the Tuner to supply and fit all the parts.
