I find it interesting that there are always comments on "Colour Wars" threads such as, "yawn", "hohum", :nuts2: , etc., but when the subject comes up, there are always a lot of passionate posts ... :pinch:

Could it be that people actually think colour (choice) is important and says something about who we are and what we want others to see us as? :nuts2:

Well Ken, you are the one that started this Colour War thing. I think that most people like all of the XR colours, some colours slightly more than others though and pick this for their vehicles.

I happen to like red, but I'm not trying to make any 'statement' by it except that I like red.

That's my point (I think :nuts2:) ... why do you like red, and what does it say about your personality type.

Each of us makes choices in life that we are compelled to, because of who we are ... colour preference is one of those.

Not trying to stir anything or anyone up here, just making an observation. Maybe I'm wrong ... been known to happen. :pinch:

Personality wise I'm probably more suited to the colour of car you drive Ken, but I happen to prefer the look of red, not trying to make any statements with my car and colour choice. Some people may be though.

I already have a Blood Orange/Red (fireglow actually) falcon, 2 White falcons, and I dont like the maintenance side of the darker colours (Phantom/Silhouette), so Merc Silver was for me. Simple really. :pinch:

Man.............That's DEEP, very, very, deep!

Where's Hypnodoc?

Me I'm a proud HgAg owner, but series 2 could see me in Citric Acid if it is still an available colour.

Otherwise I hope they have a bright yellow!

Jees.... Kenny!

You sure know how to keep a thread going!

I think you're absolutely right.

Put up your hands all you young proffesionals who have chosen a colour (such as HgAg) because you want to feel more responsible and mature and blend in with the age set of the managers/partners etc.

and Hands Up all you ol fogey's who have bought a vibrant young colour to shake off all those feelings of being your real age. :ermm: as I meekly put up my wrinlkled arm

And how about those guys (and gals) who love the image of being dark, mysterious, possibly a bit of a "bad boy" / "bad girl" who have silouette.....

And then there's all us schizo's (me included) who have several cars of different colours so we can blend in with groups of differnt types depending on how we feel.

What does the forum think..... openly and honestly now.....

PS this topic is better suited for Chit Chat on a weekend after a few glasses of Red!

;)
