From what I was told sct can't read the hp tune that's in the car.Does anyone know if I had a hp tune in and hooked up a xcal and it sucked out the hp tune as "stock" file?? Would that work? Ford didn't lock the tune, you copy a tune from Ford and make a few changes and now you want to lock it cause you think you own it now. Crazy.

In terms of the lock, I'm with trana, now I'm not a professional, but if someone asks for help I have no issues with sharing to my knowledge and that's the quickest way for this tuning platform to evolve.. But some people do, I know that GM can lock files, as well as a lot of others I.e. Evo's, WRX.. So I was just stating that it will be available with the fords too, as you will always have the secret squirrels..
