I had a 50w hid in my mk1 reflector and the light scatter was awful

My fogs are hid and reflector but they aren't too bright

I'm thinking about putting either a h11 LED or putting a projector lens in as its still a bit too scattery

it seems like a bit of a stuff around, looks like I need to use the metal clip that is on the plug but I don't really want to modify it, and ford don't sell them separately!

might have to look around on eBay I think! unless anyone else can help out as to how they have installed them in their MKII?

I've installed them in FG MK2's ... bit of a challenge, but not impossible! :)

Refer to my post in the HID thread ->

No worries, Ned! :wild:

If you follow my instructions you hardly need to modify the metal bracket at all and it holds the factory globe again if you ever take the HID out (which you won't ever need to! haha)

EDIT: of course not cutting and reconnecting would be ideal.
