They didn't give me a very good market value in my opinion but I bought the wreck from them for $800. That was pretty good.

Wow I was expecting a few grand at least! Awesome. Agree you'll get that in parts no problem. When it's totally stripped sell the chassis to one of those scrap metal pickup guys for $50 :)

Make a profit on the turbo alone. Maybe he forgot a zero? If not, awesome!

These guys appear to have an average list price that they get from the wreckers. He simply looked up his book and said $800 which I thought was pretty good. I was expecting about $2K.

Sorry Lennox, missed your note earlier. I normally drive with DSC off as it has enough torque to be a nice drift car however, given it was wet, I had left DSC on. I don't think DSC was going to help me in that situation anyway.

Yeh it seems to allow a lot of sliding before it intervenes. Sometimes I reckon it's better with it off it seems to straighten the car up at the wrong point. I'm the same though usually have it on in the wet unless I'm having happy times

Bad luck mate

If it was a true aquaplane and the slide was not induced by wheel spin the DSC is useless, no amount of gadgets can help when there is simply no grip.

Bad luck mate, seems like your going to do OK out of it haha. Your OK as well which is the main thing.
