Actually, being a bit sensible for a minute, hold it in like second with someones headlights in your mirror and nail it at like 3000rpm. I knew my other tune was poo even before being told on a club run because I would see it pump heaps of unburnt fuel out the rear. Now clean as aside from tyre smoke :)

All clean now. I love the polish stuff / sealant (whatever) that the last detailer put on Roxy coz it makes it so easy to clean her..

Sometime Biz bit I'll get to it.. Oh hang on - I see what you're trying to say.....cunny funt.

If your doing your car sunday, txt me the addy again please

Bomber

I put brand new Toyo Poxies on her the week before it went on the rollers to wear the crap off them as they say 500 to 1000 k's before they hook up properly. This was my experience with the last set as well.

Coming home just then, ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm, 3rd you say ????. I might try it in 4th.

You're not getting a cold are you Bomber? ;)

I put 300 (and some) k's on her last night in all diff rpm conditions (NOT over 5000 though -- coz scared little girl) and added a few other minor things to the list to talk to the tuner about - including a bit of a flat spot at 3700 with gentle throttle to the floor........that ones annoying and has to be fixed.

Knowing that this workshop said to me that they want to hear about any concerns so they can be looked at/rectified to MY satisfaction puts my mind at ease big time which is in total contrast to 'another' workshop here in SA that basically said to a Ford turbo owner "Fark off - it's not worth my time" which was in responce to a couple of concerns that the owner had.

....................

Ratter:

I'm sure you will remember reading in another thread where I was recommending getting a ZF tune to someone because of how much I love mine.......you may also recall that I mentioned that 1st to 2nd had a bit of a jump/thump (is a bit too harsh when changing is what I'm getting at) -- well I'm wondering if you tweeked it a bit before you sent the file because it is totally friggen smooth now. It is perfect and IMHO this it how the trans 'should' be tuned.

If you didn't make any changes, is there anything else that may have "fixed" it (for the want of a better word)?

In fact I'm gunna go as far as say

If you want a ZF tune, get Mick to do it

/ End of Story

check that ~~~ I'm not even a cash customer of yours anymore but I'm STILL recommending Pit Lane.

What a suck hole ;)

The zf can learn some funky things along the way and a re flash of the same calibration can shake some of the new things it's learnt along the way back to the correct calibration

May be just a case of the fresh flash
