It was like sandpaper so I called into the Auto shop on my way home and grabbed a Mothers Clay Bar kit with full intention of getting all of that 'grit' off the paint but when I got home and had a good look at it I thought "It might make it smooth but it's still gunna have all the swirl marks in the paint" so being old, fat and lazy, I decided to book it into Elite Finish here in Adelaide for today and get them to do a proper job on it.Really impressed with the end result.Hamish and ummmmmm.....the other bloke (sorry forgot his name) did a fantastic job.I asked them to remove the Drivers Door wind deflector thingy as well, coz now I'm off the tobacco and onto the e-cig, I have found that I can drive with the window up and not have my eyes sting after 10 minutes and they spent a bit of time polishing all of the window Chrome.There are still a couple of marks where the mud flaps used to be but I can live with that.Next up for the old gal will be another trip to Melbourne next month to catch up with some friends.I reckon they can buy us Dinner Rab. .. lol 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
