I just had a good look at the Dyno sheet for the 13lb tune and (remembering that my eyes are as old as the rest of me) the boost gauge may be accurate...........stuff it.....I'm gunna say it is coz that's easier

would also like to know ball park figures to install gauges. Top end audio told me to contact Autotech for installation, got quoted $660 to install all 3, surely I can get gauges installed cheaper

sent an sms to Jet to answer his question in full as I got a bit of a discount but.........600.................rip off...........only took my sparky mate a bit over 3 hours so if someone wants to try and charge you 200 bucks an hour labour, ask them for a job.

Edit:

don't forget to tell me when that video of wsid goes up please

Put the G6 on the hoist to have a look underneath today....first chance I've had.

I gotta tell ya that the Nizpro is a nice looking exhaust and I found a leak at one of the welds (very small) so I'll get that sorted next week.

Nice one Don. Where abouts on the exhaust is the bung welded? I haven't hooked my EGT up yet.

It's up really high willo......only a few inches out of the turbo. Nice, neat job.

----------------------------

Craig - my auto sparky mate - has ordered a new dash for me.........................When he/they fitted the gauges, one of the clips on the rear of the dash cluster snagged the very front edge (above speedo) of the dash and left the smallest of marks.

\/\/\/\/ larger now coz been playing with it and that's what happens

eekrwrt.jpg

I originally told him not too worry coz it was so small (before I (and others) played with it) but he cracked at me and said he was gunna replace it with a new one simply because the interior doesn't have a mark on it anywhere else-- except for the handbrake....must of been a chic with a ring on her finger that drove the car before I bought it.

No idea what the price of the dash is or what his insuranse excess may be but I feel a bit guilty coz he installed the gauges quite cheaply for me and now he has to pay one of the guys in the workshop to R&R the dash.....Oh well.....nice to know that he is totally honest and willing to fix a stuff up so a big shout out to the guys at Bridge Autospark

Cheers Mate - - I really appreciate it and you will have my custom again.

You have got to like a guy who is willing to put his hand up and say we did it.

And will fix it the right way no matter how much it costs

Stick with that auto electrician because that kind of person is rare

I took my car to a certain ford dealer, when I picked up the car the seat control panel on the side of the drivers seat was hanging off and there was a huge smudge of grease on the drivers seat.

I went back into the office to tell them and they said that's how it was when they got it

Put it this way, they soon found out I can be an angry man

I wasn't angry that it happened, but it pissed me off that they could not own up to it

You know wombat, I reckon that's the main reason that I told him not to worry about it -- cause he told be straight away -- as soon as it happened he was on the phone to me and the guy that did it..........I am not joking, I could hear him in the background just saying sorry over and over.

When I went to pick the car up, I had a good chat with him to settle him down coz he was so angry with himself that it happened and I reminded him of how much of a "man" he was for going to Craig (his boss) and telling him that it happened.

Edit:

how rude of me, I didn't ask.............

What happened with your seat? get it sorted?

Yeah they fixed it, and cleaned the grease off the seat. But only after I started getting loud in service waiting room full of customers
