Ive waited many years for this but yep looks like vic dyno's read high over our sa dyno :P

This was don's run stock ( red line ) and then with the KPM intake ( blue line ) and literally 2 minutes between runs and the rest is 100% stock as a rock

I wondered why we could only manage ~310rwkw on the small turbo with all the bells n whistles ;)

Take a good look it will only happen once a sa dyno reading lower than a vic one lol ;)

LOL jet but you're right..................

MY GOD those Vic Dynos read high

Must be Vic KW

etc. etc. etc.

hahahehehehaha

After reading your posts last night about the work done, I'm so glad that you've done a build thread mate ! Absolutely great read and gives me some ideas for my car :) can't wait to get pitlane to work on my xr6t. Keep us updated on any more changes !

Thanks mate, I like writing stories. The real magic came from Senna and Matt (RBS) Jet and Bloosted and everyone else that has asked/answered a question on here.

You will NOT be disappointed if you go to Pit Lane, I assure you of that.

Ralph, you would not believe how many answers you gave to things that people asked that were right on the ticket for me so if that's Jaded -- -- please stick with it. :)

Goes to show what a valuable resource this forum is and you sir have made it even better with your excellent write-up.

Very nice work.

That Mick bloke has a well-deserved reputation as an awesome bloke, although I suspect Bel does most of the work.
And you must have got P@ on a good day as any dealings I've ever had with the bastard have been shocking.

:outahere:

Not only a valuable resource when it comes to these cars Trent but I have also met some fantastic people here in SA and now in Vic and yes I agree, 90% of the work actually happens in the office at pit lane........I can't find the "having a huge purv" smiley so just pretend it's here. Hi Belinda ;) she was (what am I saying -- IS) fantastic to talk too

Well thanks for the mention

Rab and I were having a chat about the possibility of you being the 1st 10 sec single pegger the other night Matt and neither of us could imagine all of that power going through 1 wheel....respect

Am now just wondering how long you run the 3k tune for as your daily, switching to the full tune for fun before you just say "stuff it" and run the hot tune 24/7

Haven't put in back in yet coz I just caught up with a mate and his beautiful R8 Clubby this morning so had to show him .. .. .. ummmm .. .. .. how smooth the Ford is.

Brad I gotta come down and meet the new baby so you let me know when..................

I liked the pics of the exhaust valve.

Would like to drive in a car with one to compare to mine. Mine does a small drone in 6th at about 1800 rpm. But with intake and fuel pump, its not the worst noise.

I measured up some J pipes using a frequency/decibel meter at work.. Using the frequency of the exhaust we could calculate the perfect length for a set of J pipes.. Exhaust shop thought we were mad but it worked really well..

That was a while back.. Now every *beep* and his dog wants J pipes on his SS/SV6

Edit:

Realised that was very off topic..

Awesome write up Ben!! and congrats to everyone on the forum for continuing to be stand out blokes for service and assistance.. Except Pat.. He's a *beep* I hear..

Sitting at 100 (1700-1800 'ish) I know there is an exhaust on the car but it is very quiet Arron - and quite deep as well - but when you open it up sounds fantastic.

I'm still waiting for my fuel pump noise
