but even then I believe it will not work . we even had to trim the bumper bar on both bottom sides so that it would fit on . would not trust it if the two mounting brackets are gone (gold clips in the photo ) due to wind pressure may get under the cowling and get ripped downwards ? ps I have not got the car here to look at ,so I may be wrong

Hi gunna ,

you misunderstand not to cut it right off , just trim the square raised part.

thanks

Shouldn't all this come back to - make it so it fits - just like the other brands do?

And just a quick question here.......how did a thread asking for pics of intercoolers turn into an ad?

To be fair guys the HDI kits have come along way and performance wise they seem like a good entry level cooler. Especially for the price. I think their current product looks to be of good quality and finish.

Now I am strongly considering a HDI cooler as it will suffice for my needs as im not likely to have the cash for a turbo upgrade any time soon so a PW stage 2, 3 or similar would be silly if I only have around 300rwkw potential.

BUT and its quite a big but, its simply far to much cutting for what I consider to be an entry level cooler(wog/eBay coolers dont even make the list around here so don't take it the wrong way HDI) when I could possibly pick up a stage 1 PW or plaz for a reasonable price and not cut anything.

It's just a little food for thought, I really believe the current crop of HDI gear has a place in the market, refine the fitment and they would sell like hot cakes the way they are priced.
