boo-st Member 5 Member For: 11y 2m 19d Posted 10/06/14 01:53 PM Share Posted 10/06/14 01:53 PM (edited) Hi all I have a BF Tornado manual, and I got the driveshaft rebuilt today, (costing 950, is that reasonable?)And the guy that did it recommended raising my gearbox to level out the angle of the shaft to stop the centre bearing flogging out because my ute is lowered, is this common to do this?Because driving home I noticed my gear knob is slightly higher due to gearbox raise, and also a slight rubbing noise which irritates me as I like my F6 to be smooth! ha.Just wondering on your thoughts!I am getting new leaf's put in soon and getting the rear raised back up a little, and he said to bring it back and he will check the angle again for me, basically I just went with what he said because he is a drive line specialist, but my concern is the slight rubbing noise coming from my gear stick..Cheers!
