Tried the modded unit on my wifes 08 Mazda 6 sedan and it was able to pick up additional modules. Either the B series cars don't have any MS-Can modules or Forscan will need to add them to the expected vehicle list.

I've got a mazda 3, I'll see what it picks up on it

yeah mazda 3 asked if had MS Can mod

section 418-00-03 of the FG workshop manual talks about the CAN systems

one line state

"For 2008 a second CAN Bus is used, MS CAN"

from this I'm pretty sure BF's back didn't have MS CAN. which is why you could pick up the ICC and BEM in HS Can

Thanks for the tip on getting oil temperature working,  here is my installation.  a $98.00 tablet velco onto a perspex plate which replaces the tissue box.

thanks for those that provided the work on oil temp PID and Calculations....

Found out how to create my own gauges although its a shame I cannot change colours between night and day.  However these now match the dash :)  I can send gauge theme to anyone who wants it...  although XR50 logo is part of the background which can easily be removed.

Got my elm327 dongle today.

Been mucking around with torque on my Prado and the xr6. Only just cracked the surface.

I've got the full version of forscan but it won't recognise my adapter.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

that would be awesome. can you share with me the gauge background and how to mod the software?? Looks wicked, is flexible about what you can monitr and much cheaper then 3 gauge mount I was looking at in the same location.

I've got an idea that this can be connected to the ICC unit and displayed in place of my Factory GPS. I've bought a micro USB to RGB adaptor (MHL adaptor) and will see if it can be done in a couple of weeks time once I sort my turbo and valve springs!
