Yep it slows you down; big flywheels absorb more energy than little flywheels, hence more engine power goes into spinning up the big and wide metal rims.

Futher, ultra low profile rubber has less compliance, which means less grip, and, if that is not enough it also exhibits non-linear breakway... In short, everything is crap.

20's are fine unless you want to get 10th's off your 1/4 mile time. if you keep the overall rolling diameter the same or very close to the original then no legality issues.

larger rims look better- even if they are a bit heavier who cares?
