Years ago I drove a 320kW BA and loved it. Have finally saved some pennies and lookin to buy something fun. A couple of options I have are a Mk2 BF or an 09 G6Et. Help me decide plz. I want something with a bit of pep. The BF aledgedly has 370rwkW the G6 is stock with I guess 220rwkW. The Bf has 140k on the clock n the G6 has 100. I like the interior of the G6 and reversing camera.. yay. But I heard they dont have lsd, that seems backwards for a high end car with grunt? The G6 is an extra $4K, so ontop of that id have to fork out extra for cat, injectors, cooler and tune. Then still not b as fast as the BF. Any thoughts?

If it was me, I'd go with the newer and lower km G6ET. A nicer interior and a heap more options. More likely putting out around 240rwkw and the smaller turbo in the G6ET will be more fun as a daily streeter. Also yep, no lsd in the G6ET. However, this means you can put a TrueTrac in and do the diff bushes while the cradle is out. After having a Truetrac in my XR6T and going back to standard lsd in my GT I can tell you now that the Truetrac is awesome! Hooks up like a boss.

Am I missing the point here? Isnt the G6ET an FG??????

+1 on the G6ET, mate has one, and has had XR6T sedans before. Even had a BMW, and says the G is a far better car than all of them.

Yeah... I guess I like the front look of the fg better than the lights/grill of the g6. If I intercooled, piped, injected and tuned n got say 310-320rwkW how much faster would the old 360-370kw bf seem?
