I made up these for mine

The standard setup allows for 10mm of packing.

Is your camber kit the one with the bolt or nut or is it done by packers?

They're all packers from factory, the aftermarket kit allows adjustment by the wishbone joint (which is sh*t IMO) they can move no matter how tight the nut

Those pics are of a mates front tyre on his fg gtp. He is very carefull about tyre pressures (runs nitrogen for best results) and wheel alignments.

The tyre was returned to the Nitto dealer who is sending it away for testing.

There were absolutly no parts touching/rubbing the tyre, alignment was within spec as were pressures, all checked by his ford fanatic mechanic who he entrusts to work on his car.

The train of thought at present is that a internal band component within the tire has failed and allowed the tread to 'shrink' back towards the next band, leaving that 'ledge' of missing tread.

There have been two more cases since apparently. I run invos myself with no probs thusfar, but im watching them!

Not a complete bad batch needing a recall, but there are issues there for sure, my mate has been given a credit by the tyre shop towards his next set.
