I am not sure of the exact numbers in KW but it now makes an honest 330 hp at the wheels (sorry I'm old) and pulls a 13.82 quarter at 101MPH.I am looking at fitting a NOS brand Sportsman fogger kit to it in the next couple of weeks. I am certain plenty of other nutters have tried this and I am just wondering which components are likely to fail first. I have already been told to start looking for a new converter.....

I'm no expert but I reckon you could get a hell of a lot more out of it before resorting to something as naughty as nos

If you don't want to change the standard intake to a 4inch where the standard battery is or get an under battery intake than atleast cut the lower front of the standard intake box out and replace filter with a K&N type.Either remove the standard catalytic converter for a piece of pipe or gut the standard cat of its restrictive poison changing material! These mods above will give you the best shot at getting the most out of the engine and turbo.Future steps to these would be porting and flowing the internal wastegate and fitting a bigger flapper.I would be keeping an eye on the inside of the transfer case once these mods are done as these cars are big, heavy and can launch hard with awd so something will give sooner or later...I love my beast though! Or do I need to get one custom made? Where did you get yours from?

You dont need NOS for where you are at the moment. We played with it years ago and found it to be a bit of a head ache but this was on a car with much higher power figure then you are currently at. While NOS is great, its also illegal on the street and it not free. We used it mainly on NA cars with great success but found turbo cars harder to tune and get right... We just flip them upside down for fitment on the Terry and my piping is custom made which was all done by the previous owner of my car.Contact Process West and also Plazmaman for what they have but I don't think they have complete kits anymore although Plazmaman may still have so check anyway.
