What fittings are we talking about? Sisters mazda had some *beep* ones on her fuel filter that obviously required some kind of tool but I got them off with a small terminal screwdriver (cozsparkystoolsfixeverything) and some patience. Did feel like I was going to break them though.

That probably helped you heaps(not)....k cheers lol

For the transmission cooler I am thinking of running a twin thermo setrab oil cooler .its a big one 500 ×210 and 50 mm thick .would this spot be ok ? 2981a4869ec31c0a04c9cb7e78567495.jpgthinking of somthing like this c1392d3384acbc741136230407d3ae27.jpg

...Well...the surge will never out flow the lift pump allowing unlimited WOT lol.. erm maybe coz the new surge hes running has the pump submersed and enclosed so perhaps keeping it full for cooling the pump...??

I have no idea maybe it was meant to be twin 460's?

How much did he say a single 460 will do? Your going to be well in the 400's I think..

Also I dunno about having the cooler at 90 degrees to the airflow, that fan will struggle to push air through at speed without ducting

Will make up ducting .will use a aluminium funel .

He knows I want 450 rwkw .so hooefully the pump is big enough

Had a look and yes I will have the cooler on a 45%angle all good .good point there barnz

There is probably a low pressure pocket behind the cab there so perhaps it would be less of an issue than say 1m further from the cab. Air rushing past a opening usualy creates a vacuum(low pressure) so I reckon there would be a turbulent swirl in that area your thinking of putting it so could be a good thing actually.

But

On that side of the car the swirl would be anti clockwise so if your fan is pushing it may be counter productive...thinking about it too much lol. Just smack it in.
