So you went the spool rebuild kit with the Ross pistons. I was talking to tbre about this motor and what it was going to sound like. His current shop car has Ross's in it.

Yes the beige ba sedan xr6 turbo .older guy that owns it

Hi mate .thanks for talking to me at powercruise .I took your advice and ended up picking up the unfinished engine ant taken it to TBRE to get re done there . I just got bull sh*ted by the kast guy .in the end I had enough .

Thanks .but there is not much to say exept .train wreck again lol. In good hands now with Tbre . The rest I will see in the future how it will turn out.

I realy just want to finnish this build and take the thing for a long cruise . I will not take it any further than that . All I can say I totaly got screwed over and it was all my fault as I did belive in the wrong people .end of story .life goes on .gone way over budget as now I could have had a Atomic engine for what this is going to cost me in the end. And some money left over 364c138d4541b7051e52bda4667519b1.jpgthat cost me $6500 lol a half build engine including the head re done with the old valves etc

All now I will have to wait for is what Tony from Tbre finds .like ring gaps and bearing clearances .the engine needs a full strip as it is full of lint that was coused by the last engine builder due to him cleaning the engine with rags after it colected dust and grime after he got it chemically cleand .now it has to be done again only due to that it was never wraped up after it came back from the machine shop .it only had a sheat over it but not covered underneath 3c7bcdf6ea419a63d9824026bbabfc78.jpg

Looks like you packaged it perfectly for an airtight seal :)

Yeah... that's just a silly move to store it that way after being chemically treated... Tony at TBRE certainly is a great engine builder choice. Worth the effort, definitely.
