Had to use a new user name , yes its Gunna .Only reason I did not post on here was I could never get back on here . And yes I have missed everyone especialy jet . He is a top blocke that is for sure . Took the ute to the all Aussie day at lakeside last sunday , and it went real well . Have done some small mods to the car that I never finnished before my work accident  , and I find it very hard to work on my car now .the accident has changed my life for certain . Also Beau is living with us now for free as the buisness he started failed and he closed the doors , long story and its the past now . His kingswood we have in storage for a rainy day to work one it eventually when I get better . Ps he now has a permanent job locally up here . He is doing a lot better now .those new Mickey Thompson et streets work very well at rill racing but the 1/8 mile I had them pumped up to much at 23 psi and they spun on the take of and even up higher 3th gear . Still was faster than most I lined up against . This was the first time on the track and E85 tune for like 11 month

No idea how to post videos or pictures sorry.have heaps

What width rim do you have ? And what size ?

To upload images I do this ....

imageshack, upload then copy and paste the direct link into this chat box and give it a few seconds and it automatically takes the link and turns it into the picture

Thanks for the info jet .rim size is the standard 16 inch by 7 . The tyres are 255 50 16 . Mickey Thompson et streets say 7 inch wide is the smallest size I can fit them on . I marked the rim and wheel and noticed after the first time I went on the track that they moved by 50 mm .  They then only moved another 20 mm but that could also have been a full rotation ? . Is there any mods like rim locks I could get fitted to them . Thanks for any help on this

Honestly mate I’ve had the best success with thos combo and it’s dirt cheap to get even second hand there’s plenty of people flogging them off

BA XR6 8* x17* rim ( or any variation of ford 8x17 )

M/T street ET tyres in 275-45-17 with 25psi cold and work down to 18psi warm if you need it

numerous times I’ve managed to go sub 1.7 in the 60 and a best of 1.55 with zero spin, iirc I’ve seen this combo go 1.42 so no issues at all
