Water meth kits are a good bang for buck modification no question as the job it does it to purely cool the intake temps dramatically and with cool stable temps power generation is quite substantial

upwards of 30rwkw can be had off of a correctly set up and tuned kit and is really a step sideways if you can't afford a big cooler and other hardware ( typically ) but even with a "banging" set up even on E85 watermeth will still reduce intake temps dramatically so there's still a gain to be had especially if you live where ambient temp is typically north of 30* and humidity up there as well

anytime we can reduce IAT's there's gains to be had !
for $1100 plus tuning time/costs I probably wouldn't bother for what you want and can be achieved without it

Thanks for your well explaint text .that's what I call great information that I can clearly understand . Thank you so much to take your time to write that .

It is full of sand that they used for blasting the outside of it . It is all under the oil splash guards and after 2 hrs of using a air compressor and trying to get rid of it that way it still was everywhere. I ended up using a water blaster to help with it in the end . I also used two cans of degreaser. Should I just get another cover from a na engine and start again ? .it is starting to clean up but any sand at all would kill the engine in no time

You could persevere with it or start again. Probably easier/safer to start again but where is the fun in that?
