Is MT still using transmax on the ZF? My ford dealer stopped using it about 2 years ago (not sure if it was a formula change like I read on here or some other reason).

I was gona say I think people are swaying towards gulf western's fluid for the ZF.

I got the car with the zf alread built so I rang rob from mt in about feb of this year and yeah he said transmax z with a genuine filter is what he recommends

Transmax "Z" is suitible for use with the ZF they claim.

Not to be confused with ordinary transmax

Yeh I'm still pretty sure it was the Z that I was originally quoted from fraud, but then they said there were a few negative instances (cant remember exactly what proof/cases) but then he said we now have gone back to using lifeguard 6 (maybe to make more money IDK).

 

But obviously if Rob thinks its still sweet, then you cant argue with the guy who's built it! hahaha

Sorry the transmax Z is $94 dollars for a bottlebof 4 litres .with the 30 percent of its still $66 .the 28 dollars was 500 ml of penrite racing brake fluid .barnz I will not book in the car till all is done ,I will not phone no one till then .the auto electric guy will be over on Thursday to wire up the guages and the transmission fan for me . So a lot happening this week

intercooler pipe now with the blow off valve bung welded in place and the boost presure sensor birch sheet metal are one of the only people I take stuff to and I know I will get it back like I asked for . Ps I forgot to drill the hole for the catch can for the drain plug , my bad lol .still need more work done . Also got the 10 an fittings fitted to the fg rocker cover , they had to drill out the an 8 and then fit the an 10 . Might get it done red instead of black ? Whats everyones thoughts on that
