9131125a1aa0e951446555a64ac8ce74.jpgI left 4mm for the rubber mounts to move and not hit the cooler .should be enough I thought .only thing is with such a huge roller cam the whole car will be shaking side to side lol .will be one wild ride when its all going . I was originaly not going to post this but thought I might after all .take a look how the gearbox could move side to side . Bugger as I had all brand new tie downs that I used 7b2f19e7e211df92c1545dcbac041ee5.jpg677cf9d64271413514acde592a18963f.jpg881c7a000efad2b8a08ea7186ced5ec3.jpg0b771b732179046d8c3299f8f596ccd3.jpg lucky it never got damaged . Lesson learned only to use places I can drive to in 1hr to 2hr so I can pic up stuff my self and see how everything is going .

I get your frustration mate, I really do...you seem to have had sh*t storm after sh*t storm...BUT, I've also seen you come on here and slam and criticize pretty much every aspect of any bit of work anyone has done for you...so I can also see how it might feel for anyone doing any work for you, worrying what of their work might be questioned and ridiculed next.

I don't agree with the fact that someone's called around to workshops telling them not to do work for you, that's pretty poor form and very unprofessional, regardless of their feelings towards you. So I feel for you on that. But at some point you need to realise that you're not doing yourself any favours by so openly talking down about all these workshops work. You seem to always run with the "guilty until proven innocent" mentality, in that you'll come on here and straight out slag someones work and then look for someone to tell you that it's actually ok.

Please don't take this as an attack mate, I harbor no grudges or ill will against you. I can totally understand why you feel the way you do about all this, but I also think that sometimes you don't do yourself any favours with the way you go about and handle things. Admittedly though, I'd be less than impressed if I'd waited as long as you have for your gearbox (given the original time frame given) and then got it back with rust on it like that.

On a more positive note, your fabrication work is fantastic mate, loving seeing the updates. Now drop that gearbox in and rip some skids already!

But it doesn't matter what someone's like.. it's no excuse to do something sh*t like leave someone's gearbox outside to rust if you're running a business. That's just sh*t. He's paid the same for the service as everybody else. He deserves the same finished product

I literally said that in my post. Poor form and in no way justifiable. Whether you like someone or not, sometimes in business you have to work with people you don't like, it's no excuse for doing sh*t like this, I agree.

I honestly don't know who would go to the effort to ring around performance workshops to "warn" them about a customer

then I don't know any performance workshop that wouldn't take each customer on their own face value

I don't see this tans situation linked up in anyway with what they "might" of heard and the fact gunna probably got the same treatment as any customer who has sent their trans in vs bringing it in

I will dare say the BTR build is as good as any they have done previously as return faults are just not worth the effort and time that gets put onto a company to re fix sh*t so it's just a coincidence the pallet got left out but I bet my balls the trans and converter got put inside as soon as it arrived as a pallet takes up heaps to much room vs a tranny that you can stand upright

I do not think I slandered by showing acural facts of how the box moved or that the flex plate had rust on it .I never said that he did not build what I asked for . Why shut a blind eye to these thinks I rather show how it is .

I do agree that I have complaint about neerly everyone that has done work for me .I am a hard person to please ,but that's why in the end I went to the best thinking I would get what I asked for .I can understand that it will be harder to find people to work on my car ,but if they do not want to work on it that also shows me they are not confident in doing the work .we get fussy people all the time that we do work for and I take those jobs on as I like them only as I know my job well and I know I do the best job out of most of the glass and aluminium shops where we are situated . We go the extra mile on top notch finnishes ,we are still very price orientated and do the work as asked by the owners . I take pride in what I do .43296f470acbf6553fe4ea3bb38bd382.jpg282e22619dce8757d8f1fc907fcb0081.jpgc85e2888352b949c7ae34597af4a1805.jpg4a245fe1a7c903e84b2f1f14db612c6c.jpg89419de74ed56e10f5ad170985acab3a.jpgeb069c9afe5446e51483332a0df9c201.jpgf604f9f1f6dd7caa45aeefd2c1a09fd4.jpg9e59b20d25a0bb868a988b8d17d4b168.jpg470dab8a4715345eae06458d5ebe6077.jpgbb7ffaa9282baefb1f72ab54d77bc35b.jpg5 sets of these 6 door sliders
