Delete social media, stay off here. Buy a Gregory's workshop manual, Put your head down and get it finished as best as you can. Put 500 kays of easy driving on it before tuning it to sort out any bugs.

Then and only then when it's running like a normal car take it to a tuner for a Tune and final touch up.

Whs^^ f*ck everyone gunna. Come so far to chuck it in. Just get the thing running then tuned so you get a smile on your face again. Once built and smashing boost then have a little play around on all the things you are anal about but at least you have you power cruise beast back. Chin up mate. You'll get there.

But seriously 30 block. Lol

Seriously. Finish it. Boost it. Smoke it. Smile about it. To much to just pack it all in. f*ck mate if every time someone had a issue or didnt understand something about their cars and said f*ck it im packing it in. there wouldn't be many fast xr6t out there. You can do it mate. Look forward to the power cruise vids. ??

Thanks for that .look kell and I have biger problems to solve as beau still suffers from depression .I have found this whole build to frustrating as I am still waiting on the gearbox to arive , and other parts .not that anyone takes notice of how long thinks take to get done on my car .even tony said that I was a good customer at first till this incedent ,I only phoned him 2 times in 8 weeks as I trusted him fully . It will be one year this weekend the car has been of the road and another year wont kill me .I rather go camping and have some drinks with kellie and mates .rather start enjoing life than stressing over thinks that got done or not .

Mate,  I know where you're st, as I am st that point also. I'm over working on the car and spending , money on it. It has been an emotional roller coaster, filled with a combination of frustration and at times, disappointment. Don't get me wrong,  there have been good times too, but they are far from being the dominant emotion.

I often see posts from members like the one above,  and I wonder if they have ever built a car. I dont think that the majority really understand the work involved, the countless hours, the enginerring, planning and financial requirements required to complete these projects. The world of social media, has opened so many new avenues for information sharing. But, with it comes misinformation and criticism. Nowdays,  the internet is filled "experts", that have no practical or professional knowledge. Yet, they are more than happy to give you their opinions and mock hose who have alternate voews

My build has been going for over 14 months and  am still not finished. I cringe at the thought of the total outlay, let alone the amount of hours spent on the car.  Like Gunna, I too am sometimes a little too OCD with the car. Like him, I just want a quality components and workmanship as this is determining factors thst determine. reliability. Personally, I don't think that this it is too much to ask for. Especially, if I'm the one picking up the tab.

I understand and agree that Gunna could have done some things differently. But, like me, he isn't particularly mechanically minded. I understand why he is asking many of the questions that he does, as given the financial outlay, he can ill afford doing work twice.

Personally, I think that those who cannot add constructively to the thread, should just f*ck off and not post at all.

Gunna, keep soldiering on bud. Don't let it beat you. You aren't far from completion. Besides, it will make it all more sweet, when your burning some tread at Powercruise...

Brad
