Its a pain but still easier to do it now before progressing any further. Edited 22/01/16 04:17 AM by barnz

Absolutely nothing I can do I am not a engine builder ,as I said before I wanted the rocker cover powdercoated and new na 10 fittings and that never got done . I asked for a reliable engine for what I want ,if the head lets go or the head gasket lets go what can I do .the cometic head gasket never got used as he said the compression would have been to low .I asked him what compression it would have but he had no idea . No line bored crank etc was done .apparently it was all ok . So what else can I say .

I have rust proofing all over the underside of my car and most parts of the motor are black. with each oil change that I do for the intermittent service, I clean a bit more of rust proofing off to reveal the real colour of the engine sump. I now know that I have an issue where I got oil leaking/seaping off the front cover. Keeping it clean like you have above allows you to check for leaks. I am sure it will come in handy. the only thing I don't agree with what you have done, or should I say that you have not done is that the TBRE performance sticker is still on there. If you going for the sleeper look, as soon as that cop pops the hood and sees the sticker, he is gonna know it has been tuned. Get rid of the sticker..... I do not think the engine will stay clean for long .but at least I know I have freshened up most of the engine with new or cleand up parts .it is taken a lot to get it where it is now .so time consuming as it is fiddly work . Honestly I wished I never done this at all as so far it has not been a easy journey , and still so far to go .even this oil line does not fit well
