Is that anything to be stressed over ? going to use one of these thermostats but it has no litle hole on the side ?must be for getting air out when you fill the radiator up with water .that is the same thermostat as Elite fitted origanaly

Barnz can you phone me please .I have lost your number changind bearings and brushes to get the brushes to stay inside so you can push the bearing back in and the armature, you have to push a small drill bit or simular into the back cover and then as you push it in you also have to push the brushes down with a small hook like tool .made it out of a pop rivet .after that you can push it back together Was not hard to work out .thought someone might be interested

Exhaust manifold does have a gasket but 3mm seems like alot. The bolts come loose like every 10 thousand so maybe they were never tightened, did mine just the other day and the forwad most 4 bolts were finger tight so maybe this can cause the warping when heat cycled?Definitely cant hurt to get it machined. Is the head true though? Also im interested in hearing more about thay inlet manifold spacer, I would think you have picked up runner length going the fg manifold anyway so who suggested even more and why? Is it to improve low end response as a match up with that turbo? What stall does the btr have? Edited 10/01/16 04:57 AM by barnz
