Ok just want real help here .as you know I have a prosses west serge tank with a single 460 pump . The intank pump is also a brand new 460 with new cradle . So what I would like to know is the intank pump to high flow for the application as it will drain the pot to fast and run dry ? And yes forced performance recommend this set up, just concerned as there are people like Ratter saying that it is not advised to use such a big pump .please explain if there might be some problems I might be facing with this set up .450 to 470 rwkw I am after if it will get there with what I have

Having too much pressure to a surge from a lift pump? never heard of such a thing.

Not as though the surge is going to over flow. Excess will return to the tank, as far as I know.

Never ment it to come across like that .what I was trying to say is the pump flows a huge amount of fuel so it will empty the pot in the fuel tank very fast and the pot can not fill up fastcenough so it will suck in air

You will need a hi-flow reg also if running the factory rail. Herrod Motorsports do a blueprinted bosch version for a good price. I ran one on my car and many also do on here.

Personally, I'd run the factory intank with that surge set-up. You wont be using enough fuel to drain the surge tank.
