genuine honest person Member 2,769 Member For: 10y 11m 17d Gender: Male Location: near brisbane Posted 19/08/14 10:31 AM Author Share Posted 19/08/14 10:31 AM (edited) talked to real dyno today about my tune ,Lee replied that it is my turbo smart actuator that is playing up .he said they are no good to use or they do not work on our cars ?.he also asked if I got it in the right tune setting ,I replied that I have it in the 12 psi setting .he then said there should be a 14 psi one .my reply was no there is only a 8 psi and a 12 psi .so I have just swapped over from 12 psi to 8 psi setting ,and taken it for a spin .when it was warmed up I let it boost up ,18 psi WTF ? the tune felt a lot smoother and even chirped into second gear (which the 12 psi tune does not ) I do not know if it is faster or not ,but one thing is that it runs 18 psi not 8 ? tomorrow I will see how much the 12 psi tune actually goes up to .ps they are autometer gauges .they want $450 to change actuator (12psi ) and $450 for a retune ,so $900 all up Edited 19/08/14 10:33 AM by gunna Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
