this is the new tail shaft ,it has new universals (solid ) and new ends and all new stronger and heavier gauge steel piping .new centre bearing and a v8 super car slip joke . so far had the ute up to about 120 klm on private road , without any vibration or funny noises .have no tray on the ute ,so I will wait till I have fitted it back on .farrow said that it may have to be shimmed if it gets some vibrations . he said just bring it back and he will fix it (he had no time to test drive it family maters ) . I was very happy with the price $700 for all this (I got it trade price )due to my mechanic organised it for me . they are in nambour qld 4560 about 1 and a half hour drive from brisbane 0754417277 farrows shafting service (ricky ) he is right down the line ,no bull sh*t .has done this over 30 years . they do lots of different shafts ,trucks to golf carts etc

the buff is a supercheap special for $50 .its 10 years old and still going strong .thought that the ultimate compund would scratch but it did not .only used it due to lots of water marks in the paint ,got most of them out

hopefully the tray parts are ready to pick up tomorrow .how much longer do I have to wait ?

Mate I run alot of Makita variable speed buffs around the $300 mark and I seem to crap them out in 6 months doing Mould work. I bought a $50 Ozito Buff from bunnings and it has been going for a year now. When it craps out I will just buy another one.

Try some 3M Perfect It or 3M Finesse It. Check out the 3M range but be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for it. You will find it at Paint supply shops or shops that supply commercial consumables like sandpapper, tapes and things like that.
