I bought a rapid hot side for my ba, it fitted up perfectly to my car with a monza cooler. I had more trouble getting the stock pipe off the turbo...

did it look like mine (short hoses ?) I would never again buy or deal with rapid again .he missed out on selling a fg cooler kit from one of my work mates ,after he realised who he was he canceled the order before the money was transferred . in the end I got it to fit ok ,just cost me time and money .that's cars for you

I think the main problem is a lack of consistency, if every pipe was off by the same amount (AND everyone got what they ordered) then the fix would be well known and people wouldn't get as pissed off after hearing other people had no issues fitting them!

The manufacturing side of rapid is only going to turn to sh*t even more because Chris is focusing more on tuning!

I got a personal call from him after telling the truth about his business on facebook... Never got a phone call when I was waiting for my product though lol

lol me to mate .I had to borrow other peoples phones so that he would answer my calls .I was just so pissed that every day he would blame me for being impassioned (after month of waiting ) I was also waiting on a flapper mod and a turbosmart actuator .thought I would never get the parts .then I threatened to take him to fair trade .had the parts the next day .

Custom turboside air intakes.

Market is definetly there as the current suppliers seem to think a pipe box and pod is 1000$!

Yep. This is what I noticed when I started researching, I call it the nightclub theory. People obviously want the service ( wether it be drinks at a nightclub, airboxes from these guys ) and are willing to pay top $$ for it, so they can charge what they like because they have the monopoly. Not saying their stuff is bunk, the product is great! just a little steep I believe.

Not going to say too much about what Im doing becausedagswillgethisbanstickout, but itll worth the wait

yeh the price of turbo side intakes is an absolute disgrace.

I guess that's the problem going with an Aussie car that there's relatively few of compared to all the rice burners. Charge like motherf*ckers for parts

Edit beaten to it haha. Interested too see what you have planned.
