Z2TT Member 714 Member For: 12y 7m 28d Posted 25/05/14 04:16 PM Share Posted 25/05/14 04:16 PM (edited) I've driven a FG XR6T and Supercharged FG 5.0L.The VF GTS is faster in stock form than the Falcon 5.0L GT/GS, after a tune the falcon is about as fast as the VF GTS, the VF GTS on the other hand doesn't gain much power after a tune.Compared to the Turbo FG, the FG 5.0L SC has more instant power in lower speeds, once upto speed they are both about as fast as each other roll on and at part throttle cruising around the turbo is more efficient in it's power delivery in the mid range, more effortless.The 5.0L is a powerful car and has a lot of hidden power the only problem is it can't get it cannot put that power down to the ground easily. But what can't be ignored is the fact they are dynoing around the 310-320rwkw mark in standard form. I would be terribly disappointed to spend near on $100k for a car and find it's making the same if not a little less than its much lower priced competitor. Personally I don't think the LSA engine comes anywhere near the ability of the Miami/Coyote engine available from Ford. I've yet to see a tune only VF GTS make 400 plus rwkw.Benny.
