Lowering An Fg Xr6 Turbo Ute

No.

These utes run a 'leaf spring' rear end. Depending on how low you want to go you have a few options

  • add lowering block (not ideal)
  • get your standard leaf springs reset (generally a cheaper alternative to replacing)
  • replace your standard leaf springs with an aftermarket set (king springs or pedders)

Best off talking to a suspension specialist to work out which way to go depending on what you want out of it.

Sucks ey, coil springs are like a hundred bucks.

leaf spring reset is $400 odd, new leafs $700 or so

Was when I had a ute anyway..
